A delicious cranberry sauce perfect for the holidays. Made with fresh cranberries, oranges, vanilla, and bourbon.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 oz-bag cranberries
  • 1/2 cup white sugar

  • 1 cup water
  • 3 orange slices
  • 2 tsp orange zest

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, add the cranberries, sugars, water, orange slices, orange zest, bourbon, and cinnamon sticks. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until the cranberries burst open. After 15 minutes, reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. Let the sauce cool completely and store it in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
