- 1 cup water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 cinnamon sticks
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a small pot and bring to a boil over medium heat. Once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes, then remove it from the heat. Let it cool, then strain through a cheesecloth into a jar or container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
